Hello, I am new to this list, but I've heard great
things about it. Hope you ladies and gentlemen can
help me, and please forgive my English as I am not
from the US...
I?m very interested in trying traditional tintype, but
I don?t know where to get Japanned Lacquer to coat the
tin plates; I don?t know how to adjust my 4x5 film
holder for wet plate.
Can anyone enlighten me about this? I've been to the
Scully and Osterman?s collodion website and just send
my subscription for the collodion journal but I would
like some more information..
By the way , I got curious about this process after
reading Christopher James?s book: is easy and
great!!!
