Anderson again one

Over Christmas to escape the grandchildren and the dreaded playstation I
retired to my study to play with mine! And decided to make a more detailed
study of our recent Paul Anderson / David Scopick pigment ratio test
discussion.

I read both David Scopick and Paul Anderson¹s words carefully, and came to
the firm conclusion that they both were correct in their assumptions.

Paul Anderson proved to be quite impressive. It is many years since I have
read him. What I did not realise was the major contribution he made to the
understanding of our processes, also it is apparent that he is working from
years of personal experience he states in the section on coating describing
The qualities required off a brush and states. --;
BRUSHES ‹Two will be required a flat, soft paintbrush about 3 inches wide
set in rubber, for coating; and a flat badger blender about 5 to 6 inches
wide for blending. This latter brush is rather expensive costing about $5 or
$6, but it lasts indefinitely the writer has been using his present one for
about 27 years.

Having finished Anderson again two I felt the need to contact my friend
David Scopick and get his thoughts on the subject. He was blissfully unaware
of the whole discussion. And felt that he too would like to make a
contribution. He is not on the list. So I will forward his contribution on
to you all under the heading Scopick on Scopick.
