Dear Judy,
My email is always sent as "plain text". I do not send HTML code to mailing
lists, or anyone else for that matter.
I suspect that the 'problem' is on your end. Based on prior complaints
you've made to this list (when I've never experienced the problems you
complain about) further points to problems with *your computer*. I have
never seen HTML code being posted to this list. AFAIK, there was only one
instance in the past year that someone posted an attachment. That was
unintentional and the poster apologized for it after the fact. FWIW, I'm
using Outlook Express and do not have the problems that you do.
If you want to take issue with my constructive criticism regarding
"Alternative photographic Site", that's OK, you're entitled to your opinion.
But with my slow connection (averaging 36,000 bits/second) overly
cluttered/slow to load webpages are a PITA. I guess you missed the point I
was trying to make to Luc. So let me rephrase it: Make the homepage
simple, clean, and fast loading - I will give up after waiting 30 seconds to
see only fancy type appear.
I'm not the only one who had trouble viewing Luc's website, so I hardly
think it's fair to criticize me for issuing a "reproach".
Best regards,
Dave Rose
