Yes, and not for the better )-: BTW bleaching during fixing can
somewhat be arrested by making the fixer a bit alkaline. Thus my
fixer contains 5% hypo and 1% soda. As I said, I fix 5 minutes.
This gets me pretty much onto the safe side -- I hope. Anything less
than 2 minutes I consider courageous. Perhaps it deserves also
emphasis that VDB profits from a dramatic dry down effect. So even if
the image looks horribly pale when taken out of the fixer, it will
recover quite a lot during drying.
