Arthur,
Here ia a sample of cyano with Irish Breakfast tea.
http://216.195.4.24/cyanotypes/martin_helmut_reis/mhr_jardin_26tea.html
Boil a pot, cool down a bit and let it soak. I used $100
cotton rag paper. Wash and rinse after in cold water.
Makes for a lovely cream colour and IMHO improves contrast as well.

Subject: Toning w/TEA
I'm wondering how one tones prints with TEA, what kind of tea, how strong
etc. . I understand Sally Mann uses tea to get those beautiful colors in
her
"Deep South" and "Motherland" series. Thanks. Arthur
