Re: making enlarged negatives - from pyro originals
Art, Condenser use for the making of enlarged negatives has but one draw
back, all dust and scratches WILL show up. Other than that, it should be
treated as any other film making process. Choose the appropriate film to
create and hold the detail of the original and process accordingly.
That is the short answer. You will find that typical exposure times are
short 2 to 20 seconds and may produce inconsistent results from light on to
light off with the use of a cold light source. I like to use my D4 for
making positives, while not a cold head it does have a diffusion light box
to soft dust and scratches.
