I spray all my hand colored work with Krylon Crystal Clear acrylic glossy
non yellowing spray. And polaroid transfers, too. The jury is still out on
acrylics because how many years have they been in use? since the 50's
maybe? But I do it on hand colored work because it evens out the uneven
gloss created by hand coloring only parts of the image, and richens the semi
matt paper so the blacks appear deeper.
