Note that gold is quite slow to dissolve in aqua regia. You will have to help it by a gentle warming. For dissolving platinum, it's even worse. Boiling aqua regia is barely sufficient.

|Hi,
|
|
|Does anyone of you know a procedure to make gold
|(III)-chloride from pure
|gold? I know, that gold has to be dissolved in aqua regia. But
|how should I
|get solid gold chloride out of the aqua regia? Any ideas are welcome.

|Thanks
