The rule of thumb for contact printing is "emulsion to emulsion,"
otherwise, supposedly, the thickness of the paper softens the focus.
Don't know if it's "Ingres" or not, but there's a paper called "Michallet"
sold in US which has laid lines. Technically it was great for gum (single
coat) but the lines were too insistent.
