I forgot to flaunt this:
The substrate you print the step tablet on matters too. Clear Pictorico film
will measure slightly different on a densitometer than the clear portion on a
Stouffer's. In addition, I think the Pictorico film blocks UV light more
effectively than the film the Stouffer's step is printed on. It is an
educated guess, but others on this list may have experienced the same effect.
