Living in North Texas, I have found that paper negatives do work with
cyanotyping. It may be due to the bright sunlight even in the winter.
One method is to spray the paper negative with "Pam" cooking oil. The
drawbacks are that it is hard to see when the print is properly exposed
and that the oil tends to get on things. Overhead transparency material
works well to.

I know that generally an enlarged film negative is used for either the
VDB or cyanotype processes. Would it be possible, however, to use a
paper negative?
