Mark,

I think that you started this.... back in the days of old some of
us used Strathmore 500 series 1 or 2 ply bristol to coat.... after
1986 to 89 they changed some of the papers.... Gordon Mark and I
bought about 3,000 .$ worth of paper, the old stuff is still fine
to print on....any hard surface paper will work fine for detail but!!!!!
most of them are so buffered that they will not work.....Kerik and Clays
vellum are fine....try some of the other bristols plate and and smooth
finished, but make sure that you pre coat them with acid first then
dry then recoat with pt/pd for the print...

Oh how I miss Opline parchment a wonderful paper...
