The effect of toning VDB with palladium or platinum is that the image
takes on the color typical of these metals. Well, almost so, because
a platinum or palladium toned VDB will be warmer than a real platinum
or palladium.

And yes, use the same formulas as for kallitype.

I may have said that about selenium and the 10 miles pole, but in
fact selenium toning, if done after fixing, may have a role if you
like the native color of VDB because most toning done after fixing
has little impact on color.
