Hello,

Let's say you have your pyro dev process fine tuned with a given film, exposure index, PMK concentration, devpt tank, time, temperature and agitation. It's clear that if one changes only the tank for example, as pyro is sensitive to oxygen, the results won't be reproductible. This is why I had problems transferring my recipe from large sheets to 6 small sheets (4x5) in a small Jobo tank.
I would like to get rid of this but keep a staining developper.
My question: I have almost no experience with pyrocatechol. Is it also sensitive to oxygen ? Or is there a staining developper which will give consistent and constant stain results wathever the air/liquid conditions are ?

Thanks,

Philippe
