I have a Epson 2450 which slowly makes very good scans including 35MM. I almost always shoot 2 1/4, both negative and positive, and the scans are wonderful.

So my real question is more about thequality of the transparency adapter on a flatbed vs. a true slide scanner or a drum scan. Am I going to be losing anything here?
