How is it that a portrait by a Daguerreotypist becomes a "self-portrait"
by the sitter when exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago or
anywhere else for that matter? Is it only semantics that irritates me
about this? Was Jerry Spagnoli's name mentioned as the
photographer in any way at this exhibition? If so, how was he
"officially" being associated with his own work?
