For those in the NY area with an interest, the Metropolitan Museum of Art
has in its print collection a substantial number of Jose Ortiz Eschage
Fresson prints well worth the trip to 5th Avenue. (He was an affluent
industrialist). No pens allowed in the sancta sanctorum. The Fresson process
is indeed beautiful and creative, but not all Fresson prints qualify -
notably some of the more recent ones that have been hyped for the process
and not the substance. Joachim
