Hi,

I used to work with Japan Paints a lot. The are primarily used by sign
painters. Try a very good "hardware" paint store. Sometimes you can find
them at good art supply stores.

In Boston, I used to get my paints at Johnson Paints.

Funny, I had just been looking into some tintype/ferrotype books today.
