So far, no one has mentioned the gimmick which explains why Kinkade is "The
Painter of Light."
He paints certain parts of each picture with luminescent paint which glows
when room lights are dimmed. As you turn down room lights, patches of light
on the ground give a twilight effect, and the windows of the cottages seem
to glow with candlelight. If you go in one of his galleries, ask them to
demonstrate this effect. Who could resist that?.
