Sandy: At Home Depot and such places you'll find in the paint section some
stuff called Dip-It. It's a heavy-duty rubbery-plastic goo that people use
to coat the handles of screwdrivers and similar. You just dip the Richeson
brush handle in it, dip again if you want, etc., and you have a nice
hard-rubber coated deal there. I coated mine right to the edge of the
metal ferrule. You can also apply Dip-It w/ a brush, which I did w/
another implement. -jb
