Hi List!
Can anyone give me a ballpark time of exposures to test strip at, for a
normal density 35mm negative onto FP4 (125) 4x5 film mostly full frame under
a condenser enlarger with an 80mm lens, lens set at around 5.6? I've got
some past mathematical formula where you multiply the f stop and
magnification etc etc but would much prefer someone's experience of what
they start test exposing their film at. Is it seconds, or tenths of
seconds, for instance? Since this is an interpositive that will then be
reexposed onto 8x10 Bergger ortho film, I want it to be a bit overexposed
and underdeveloped...I always used to use Kodak SO132 film, and now that is
discontinued and I am not aware of any other direct dupe film--if someone
knows of one, let me know, too.
Chris
