I was reading in "Photography in Color "by George Lindsay Johnson cc. 1917 in discussing the UTO process Page 189 that the use of aniline dyes are not enough that it is necessary to increase their sensitivity to light .. This is done by adding etheral oil such as Anethol or thiosiamine , or hydrogen peroxide .. Has anyone experimented with this ? It also discusses using transparent color vs opaque color..
