Thanks for the compliment. My process has mostly to do with setting up somewhat
controlled environments whereby I am sometimes able to capture something chaotic
within the four corners of a piece of film... Stay rigid to the rules in
preparation and when the technical and the creative lines blur while working,
and it excites you, you know you're on to something. Mistakes are part of the
creative process and should be honored and noted, before moving on. Yours will
be different from mine, so to tell you what to avoid would be preventing your
potential in discovering something I missed. Keep track of the things that work
as well as the things that don't to avoid repeating yourself and getting
discouraged -- That's probably the best advice I can offer.
In any case I hope you try it. The cost is a few cents in photochemicals and
some film stock. When you start to get images you like, let me know. I'd love
to see them.
