Very interesting that William Crawford would re-join the alternative
photography community after all this time. KOL is still one of the
best books around on alternative printing, and not just for the
technical information about processes but also for the interesting
history about photographic aesthetics and the syntax of printmaking.
In fact, the greatest influence of the book on me was in its
application to my research on Pictorialism, not on printmaking.

Does anyone know what Crawford is doing these day? And wonder if he
is thinking of updating KOL.
