Hello Jack. The prints you saw are 4x5 Salted Papers in Fabriano 100% cotton
(no toning and sizing).
I´ve been printing in Salted Papers for just 10 months or something. Today I
prepared the solution to make VDB and Cyanotypes.
One question I´d like to ask is how these processes compare to each other
regarding printing times under BL fluorescents. I bought 4 BL18W Fluors with
magnetic Ballasts and the times for Salted Papers are quite long (30 minutes
with a normal density neg at 20 cm from the tubes), when, with sun printing
the same negs require 5 to 7 mintues of exposure. I´m using an old
photographic printing frame (circa 1900) with the original glass.
Thanks once again for your help!

Agustin:
You are welcome . . I visited your site and can see you're involved with
alternative processing. Are the ones w/the painted (coated) edges VDB or
salt or Platinum?
Also, I meant to post the PDF file of Joe Portale to you only and not the
list. My apology there as I was trying just to email you privately.
Best to you . .
Jack Fulton
