Van Dyke if properly processed (cleared, hypo cleared, washed) and TONED
with gold and/or platinum (probably also a sulfide or selenium toner too)
should last forever.

Gum lasts as long as the paper it's printed on, assuming the pigment is
archival. That is, forever and two or three days.
