I bought 30x40 cm 1.1 mm thick ultraflat LCD screen quality glasses for about 0.50 EUR/unit.
But minimum quantities are like maybe 200 hundred units ... always the same story.
Research is expensive. But this was for holographic plates.
Now, for photography, regular float glass is already a good deal and is really cheap.

Subject: glass plates
Hi - I'm trying to buy dozens of glass plates for in-camera use but my
current local source and a few internet sources are found to be very
expensive. Does anyone have suggestion about who may sell glasses like
this cheaply?
- regular float glass or preferrably clear borosilicate glass
- 1.5mm or 1/16 inch thickness
- 6-1/2 by 8-1/2 inch (tolerance +0mm, -1.5mm)
- no surface treatment
- edges preferrably smooth ground
Thanks!
