Thanks Grace, nice images by the way!

I do include a step wedge. I've tried a few different
curves but none have really done much to affect the
blacks.

I'm using Arches Aquarelle paper and I'm wondering if
it just isn't suitable, hence the sensitiser floating
off in the wash. Or perhaps the hypo is having an
effect?
