Green ferric ammonio-citrate: (C6H5O7)3 Fe2 (NH4)3
Brown ferric ammonio-citratre: (C6H5O7)2H2 Fe2 (OH)3 NH4, 3H2O
Both are ferric: iron with three positive charges. But they have different molecular weights, so in equal mass, have different sensibility simply because the iron +++ mass is different.
