I just bought the lamp from a secondhand store. It is really good - and
I see from Sandy's article that he thinks it would work well for all alt
pro because it puts out UV over a wide spectrum. I always wear anti-uv
safety glasses when I'm using it. I don't turn it off between exposures
- just get a lot of prints ready to go and cover them with film bags
until I start the timer. I sandwich my print and negative between glass
and hardboard (masonite)and carry it to the light.

Hi Kate,
Is it the same that Sandy King describes on his article at
http://unblinkingeye.com/Articles/Light/light.html?
How did you build it?
Giovanni
