Hi... working on a new project now...
I was wondering how Ambrotypes, Dags and Tintypes were
sufrace protected....
I belive Tintypes were varnished, which I read led (or may
lead) to intense darkening of the image.
(Any comments?)
How are the other two processes protected?
Who on the list has had sucess with these two methods?
Who has tried various different methods of surface
protection ?
What did you find works best?
