Koenig mentions Wade in the very first paragraph in the book, which says
that Koenig's method was "derived from an earlier, but rather grainy,
method described by Wade (1978) to produce monochromatic images." And in
a chart of historical antecedents, he lists and describe's Wade's method
in more detail. While he rightly cites Wade in describing the
historical background, it's obvious that Koenig's method is his own.
