Hello Chris!

Till June 19th, you can get a "C84 for US$ 8 + Free Shipping" from Office
Depot.

If you want the details of this 90$ [50+20+20] Rebate,
Go To: < http://www.edealinfo.com/DDCateg/printers.shtml#040612D8 >

Sorry, I didn't post this earlier...
But you could call-in at Epson Customer Care, and ask them for the 20$
Rebate to be refunded.
One of my friends on another list did this.
Now, you have to be a really good "communicator" to get money back from
these corporates once you have paid, but anyway, what's the harm in at least
trying?!

I think you got 50+20 mail-in rebates [prints]...
There is one more 20$ rebate on the link above: During checkout, apply $20
off $75 Coupon Code "32451881" on it (Expires 06/30/2004)
Lemme know if you succeed. :-)

Hell, you don't even get a pair of good cartridges for 8 bucks these days...
This a great deal...

Also, while you are at it, you might want to get a MIS CFS system devised
just for the C84 to get full tone in your Nges and Prints [B&W]...
(Though I have not used it, I have heard great reviews about these ink kits;
do check-out details and reviews from friends etc before buying! :->)
Direct Link: http://www.inksupply.com/index.cfm?source=html/cfs_c84_new.html

Hope this Helps...

Subject: cheap C84 printer for diginegs

Hi All,

Don Bryant, hearing of my crummy printer woes, sent me a URL a couple
days ago: http://www.officedepot.com/ddSKU.do?id=158815
It is the C84 from Office Depot, and with applying 2 of the
rebates--the Office Depot $50 mail in, and the Epson $20 mail in, my total
cost for the printer was $30!
Now THAT'S a deal.
Plus it came in a couple days Fed Ex to the cold northwoods here, even
though I did not ask for quick shipping.
Some of the rebates go off in June so if you are in the market
for a cheap printer, act fast.
I'm sure the reason it is so cheap is it is a lucrative ink eater-upper, so
Office Depot assumes you'll be back frequently for cartridges, but
heck--I'll sport $30 even if I were to only get one summer out of it!.
This list is *****great*****; in the last week I have had help with my
library woes, my identifying book woes, and my printer woes.
But if you don't complain about your problems, you don't receive (said to
those too timid to post)!

Chris
