  If the Kami operation is anything like the old mounting a 35mm slide in
oil for dye transfer color separation operation... you might be just out
of the frying pan. It was almost impossible to float that neg without
bubbles, hairs, specks & invisible forces the point light source knew how
to magnify. Of course the digital operation will avoid that, but
still...it can't be glitch proof.
