Carmen,

So if I understand your method you mixed glyoxal with the gelatin and baking
soda. Did you brush size or soak?

Your mixture sounds similar to one that Clay Harmon uses for Gum over
Palladium. He brush sizes after a soak in oxalic acid with Fabriano Extra
White.
