Mac OSX is Unix-based**. The Gimp Print system/drivers which were designed
for Linux will install on OSX and allow you to use the Epson 9500. It will
be a nightmare if you are not a Linux Guru -- this is low level stuff.
However, if you re-e-e-ally want to use this printer with OSX it is
possible. Pay a computer science student (make sure they are Linux friendly)
from a local college or university $50 (it should take a couple of hours at
most) and you'll be flying.
