I just dilute with tap water. I tone (with continuous agitation) until I
either get a color I like or until it begins to reduce more than I
desire--usually about 2 minutes. Of course, then it changes as it dries. I
also like a light toning in gold after the selenium. Here is one I
doubletoned like that:

Ed says 1:333 - 1:250, Don says 1:500.

For how much time? Should I dilute with water or 2% sodium sulfite?
(Irrelevant question: Is Ilford Washaid the same thing with 2% sodium
sulfite?)
