Thanks for putting up the 2004 portfolio. In addition to Loris's
excellent point which will also help to make the page compatible with
all browsers and systems, the download time can be significantly
shortened by resizing the images to the displayed size at the displayed
resolution. This is very easy with software such as Hemera's
NetGraphics Optimizer (others also). The optimizer can also be used to
compress the jpeg the most without adversely affecting quality.
Remember these only have to be good enough for the monitor screen.
