about specifics here) for the varoius chemicals used?"

I live in a rural area. My water comes from a surface well and the
sewage goes to a field, to be returned to the land. All the liquid waste
from my darkroom goes down the drain to a "greywater system" (so as to
not disturb the bacteria in the septic tank) that discharges on to the
surface of the ground opposite from the well. From the looks of the
plant growth in that area, plants don't mind the darkroom effluent and
the frogs over there don't glow in the dark.
