Beware that a lot of glues melt foam or plastic. I use a good contact adhesive that upholsterers use on foam products........jc

  Subject: Help with glue

I am trying to adapt an old daylab 8x10 chemical processing base to hold an 8x10 Polaroid film holder to do some emulsion lifts. I am cutting up some old closed cell foam mouse pads to glue to a slab of MDF creating a channel for the base to rest in and of course provide light tightness. I am trying to figure what sort of (hopefully opaque) glue to use on this stuff and wondering if anyone has any suggestions.
