I'm not sure why one would need a projection wedge, perhaps someone could explain what they are used for. The 21-Step is much smaller. Price can vary dramatically depending of if you want them to calibrate it on a densitometer for you.

  Dear list members,

I was looking for step wedge films in the web and found the Stouffer 4 x 5" Projection one for $59.95 and Photographer's Formulary 21 Step Sensitivity Guide for $9.95.

Is there such a big difference in quality between them that justifies such a difference in price? Could I use either one? What do you prefer for your exposure tests?
