It is a very heavy and thick oily liquid intended to relieve constipation
formerly in humans but now it is sold only for dogs.
When I bought a dozen bottles at Boots the Chemists they thought i must be in
real trouble. I was using it to slow town the effect of turpentine as a
thinner in asphaltum photography. It did not work very well.
