I use Hansa Yellow Medium from Daniel Smith (PY97). It is lightfast and
possibly closest to the "primary" yellow as you can find. Togeter with
phtalo blue and some quinacridone magenta(PV19) they make a very good
starting combination. My particular brand of PV 19 is Quinacridone rose
from Daniel Smith. I buy Daniel Smith watercolor tubes and mix with a
batch of gum solution.
