Depends on the lens.. It should with room to spare... I have a 240mm f 5.6
Nikor that covers , and a 300mm f 5.6 Rodenstock Rodagon, that covers ( I
just bought this on E-Pay for $240 brand new) .
You can usually check on the MFG web site as to what the lens is recommended
for..
