I picked up a 100 gram model of this one off ebay.

Didn't cost much more then $10. Seems to work just fine. Not that easy to
clean.

        If you want a bigger one I'd suggest getting two. A small more accurate one
and a bigger one. If you're weighing 500 grams I doubt being off by 1 gram is
a big deal. If you're weighing 1 gram then being off 1 gram is a big deal.
