Ryuji, I double coat because I'm a bit wary of thin spots, missed patches if
I only coat once.
Allan, it depends.....some inks are o.k. The pigment inks on my Epson Photo
R210 tend to spread. You would have to experiment.

Kate, do you get a sharp image with this technique? I'm wondering
whether the ink would spread out a bit in the gelatin.
Also, do you get strong shadows?
