DEAR LIST,
While I often make PT/PD prints on Cranes Platinotype or Lennox papers, I
have recently made some prints for a show on COT paper. Seeing Christian
Nze's PT/PD prints on COT last Dec in Paris convinced me to try it.
While COT is too expensive to use all the time (such as first prints, etc.)
it certainly fits my preferences in so many ways: better wet strength,
amazingly smooth surface, great D-max, and it lays flat without pressing.
Amazing stuff!
                CHEERS!

Hello Ernesto,

I bought an Ideal "Model M" pocket seal. Google gives a lot of results for
this one. You have to provide a black and white design of the mark to the
stampmaker. It will be scaled and transfered in positive and negative levies
to the upper and lower blindstamp plate. Just be cautious that the embossing
area is not too big. Otherwise the stamp doesn´t work with heavy paper or
could be damaged if too much force is needed.

All the best
