Currently, either 1 USD = 0.85 EUR, or 1 EUR = 1.17 USD.

If someone said that 1 EUR was 85 US cents, they were probably quoted the USD to EUR conversion in the wrong direction. 1 EUR = $1.30 is out of date.

That was a quote from a conversion site. I haven't had a need yet to make an
