Thanks for the details. I usually coat 6 to 8 sheets with a brush and then
drop it into a warm eater bath as you suggest but I've not used detergent.

I asked about the dichro stain simple because the brush(s) appear to have
all of the pigment rinsed out yet the bristles still look very discolored.

I don't know if I have any residual gum left after the washing but I thought
I might ask anyway.

Now the foam rollers seem to require more coating solution than say with a
brush and I'm guessing that those who use the roller method are doing larger
prints. I saw Stuart Melvin coat a sheet at the '03 APIS with one of those,
it looked so smooth and easy. Hope he is doing well since I never hear his
name mentioned much any longer.
