We used to use an "X-ray film" as direct duplicating film, to enlarge
35 mm negs for alt processes.

>From Photo Warehouse, relatively cheap, probably outdated, about 11 by 14
inches, and VERY slow, about 15-20 min exposure -- students said they went
out for lunch (or anyway coffee) while it was exposing. But if you had the
patience it made a very nice full scale enlarged negative from a negative,
saving the effort of interpositive and generally much better in tone than
lith film, which tends to high contrast no matter how cannily made.

(It's got rounded corners, tho maybe it all does.)
